DiskBase became a freeware in its version 5.17. The reason for that was that the conditions for the DiskBase development have been unfavourable for a long time, so DiskBase was not enhanced at all during the past 2 years. Thus it would be quite unfair to ask money for it.

However, for personal reasons, I am no longer able to make any further updates and thus I have made the DiskBase source code available for download. Together with the source is available also a description of possible further development. If somebody takes over the project and continues with the development, I would greatly appreciate it. The only condition is that it becomes a Open Source resource. There is already a DiskBase project created in SourceForge.net, however I never had time to put all what is necessary stuff there. If somebody does so, I will pass to him/her the administrator rights there.
